NSRC Operations Center received a distress call from the ship captain at 11:38 pm. Immediately after the ship was located, the Center's rescue aircraft was dispatched to evacuate the critically ill, 14-year-old Croatian girl, along with her father.
Thanks to the well-equipped search and rescue aircraft, the patient was evacuated by the crane from the cruise ship. The necessary coordination was made with "Seha" to receive the patient. The aircraft landed at the hospital helicopter landing strip, and the girl was handed over to the emergency staff of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
